Counseling Department

Guidance Services

The purpose of the Rockhurst High School Counseling Department is to develop helping relationships with students, parents, teachers, administrators and the community at large. This Jesuit College Preparatory Program embodies the spirit of Ignatian education and vision, which educates the whole person to be individuals of competence, conscience and compassion. In the spirit of cura personalis, developmentally appropriate efforts of the Counseling Department are primarily directed toward academics with support services in college, career and guidance counseling. These department efforts in turn assist students in their growth in being young men who are open to growth, intellectually competent, religious, loving and committed to doing justice.
