High School Placement Test

One aspect of the Rockhurst High School application is to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT). This test will be given at Rockhurst on December 7, 2024. Check in is at 8:00 a.m. Testing begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. To register for the Placement Test at Rockhurst, please log in to your MyRock Login and hit schedule on your son's Admissions Checklist.

Rockhurst's Admission Committee evaluates placement test scores when considering a candidate's potential to succeed in a college preparatory environment. Test results also help determine advanced class placement and summer school attendance.

  • What is the test attire?

    Test takers can dress to their liking, there is no dress code.
  • What do I need to bring to the placement test?

    Nothing!  Just yourself.
  • Are calculators allowed?

    No, calculators are not allowed.  Scratch paper is available.

    Yes, but only if you score below the 60th percentile.
