Donnell H. Schilling, MD '61 (2009)
In the 1960-61 school year, there was one name that shined in Rockhurst athletics: Don Schilling. A star on the football field, basketball court and track, he earned three varsity letters in each sport. In football, Don was feared as a linebacker and is still known for playing with incredible passion. He was an All-District player who was selected by his teammates as the Bukaty winner as well as captain. The Prep News noted Don as a standout in basketball and track, additionally. Before graduating, Don had two track records to his name.
